I’m really enjoying the theme/design of your blog. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility problems? A small number of my blog audience have complained about my website not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome. Do you have any solutions to help fix this issue?

You will find that most themes will face compatibility problems with Internet Explorer.There are many sites that offer snippets of code you can place in to custom-functions.php file

From my own past experience I would try wordpress.com to begin.When familiar with the behind scenes or dashboard conmsider upgrading to a self hosted wordpress installation
Self hosted WP allow more themes,plughins which there are thousands and allows easy customisation.
Wordpress.com does not allow plugins and is difficult to change themes(Face of your site).However it is free and gives a good grounding in blogging

I very much enjoy reading your blog; I came across your site when looking for resources (particularly insurance resources) for British Expats.
I currently work for a British company called Life Insure who help expatriates like yourself obtain life insurance. We understand that this can be difficult to obtain when moving/having moved abroad, but we also recognise that it is an important safety net to have wherever you are in the world.
