It is great in the cold if your wearing proper clothing and it is true,the summers are long and hot. I'm used to warmer climates. I've been to all the Scandinavian countries in the summer. I liked how it stays light til like midnight. I've been to the arctic circle and it never got dark. I thought that was interesting and cool. When I lived in Germany, it got dark like around 10:30 pm or 11pm. It got dark earlier in the winter, like around 4:30pm. Northern Germany, it got dark like around 3pm. I thought the weather in Germany was cold and damp in the winter. Being from Arizona, I'm used to a warm and dry climate. That's the one problem I have about leaving, changing from one extreme weather condition to another as an adult. Younger kids can adapt quicker than adults can.
