Helsinki Restaurants worth visiting.
I believed it was about time to review some of the excellent Helsinki Restaurants. There are many places worthy of note,of which I shall post more at a future date. The first of which I had the pleasure to visit last October was G.W Sundmans and this was an experience in itself when I ate there ,more about it below.I would Highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family. The second place I have heard incredible praises about and I do intend to visit in the near future. Both restaurants serve Finnish dishes with wild meats, mushrooms, berries and crayfish.
Put both or either of these into your address books,I can promise you will not be disappointed

I eat out rarely, but when I do I wish it to be a culinary experience.Since Jarmo Vähä-Savo became Executive Chef of G.W.Sundmans’ in 1998,he has tirelessly slaved to transform it into one of Finland’s top restaurants. Now a classic, it feels like the establishment has always been up among the very best.
A new and very important addition to the restaurants team was the arrival of Hannu Arokko in April 2003.He now is The Restaraunts Manager. Together Vähä-Savo and Arokko form a team with crystal clear goals, a passionate attitude to their work, and to the restaurant’s continuous development.
Today G.W.Sundmans is known for its consistent gourmet kitchen and sensitive, quick witted front of house staff. The venue offers a magnificent environment for a business lunch or dinner, but also for private customers out for a celebration or something more spontaneous.
I do like the unhurried service in this establishment,if you chose to be in,seated, eat and out in 1 hour you will not find any faults. The service is excellent.O n the other hand some diners prefer eating at a more leisurely pace, again no problem.

The purity and beauty of Chez Dominique.
Maintaining two Michelin-stars at a restaurant, the outer circumstances of which were rather scanty, as is the case with Chez Dominique, is a quite a feat. It’s the sort of performance of which restaraunteer dreams are made of
Chez-Domonique received its first Michelin star in2001 and was awarded its second in 2003.This in itslf is quite a feat,as there are only a handful of such restaurants in Scandinavia.I beleive London only has 4 or 5 such accolades.I have yet to eat here, but freinds are constantly praising the place for its fabulous tastes and menu combinations.LOOKS ONE TO TRY
Should you have Favorite eating places, please comment!!until then please feel free to visit either of these two excellent Helsinki Restaurants
